Overview
At IIMCH we designed and implemented a digital voting system that replaced manual processes. The platform supports voter authentication, ballot configuration, live participation tracking, and auditable results.
Context
The institution needed a trustworthy solution for internal elections with multiple roles: administrators, supervisors, and voters. Deadlines were tied to academic calendars, so reliability and clarity were critical.
What we built
We built a web application with role-based access, an admin panel to create elections and candidates, a secure voting flow, and dashboards to monitor turnout in real time. Logs and exports were added for post-election review.
Challenges
Balancing ease of use for non-technical voters with strict integrity requirements. We addressed this with guided flows, session validation, and clear status messages at every step.
Outcomes
Elections ran on schedule with high participation. The institution gained a reusable system for future processes and reduced operational overhead on voting day.
